- I am a travel blogger.
- I am obsessed with hammocks (even in the snow).
- And I have never been to Seattle.
Favorite aspect of snowshoeing?
I love snowshoeing into untouched areas where piles of fluffy snow cover every branch, and there is a certain silence in the air that just doesn’t seem to be there in the summer.
Favorite drink while snowshoeing?
Hot tea… with Irish cream.
Favorite trail snack?
Last year my boyfriend, Wade, cooked up a fairly elaborate chicken stir-fry on a snow pit fire in the middle of the forest. But usually, Honey Bunches of Oats cereal.
Dream snowshoe trip?
Iceland is my favourite country, but I haven’t had the chance to snowshoe there yet. I’d love to explore the highlands.
Anything else we should know?
I prefer sleeping outdoors.
