Top 3 things we should know about you?
- I’m a former competitive cross-country skier and biathlete and I didn’t start snowshoeing until a few years ago.
- Sometimes in the winter it feels like all I do is wrestle my kids in and out of their snowsuits.
- Some people hibernate in the winter but it’s when I come alive!
Favorite aspect of snowshoeing?
Getting off the beaten path, away from crowds and exploring new places.
Favorite drink while snowshoeing?
Water…boring, but true.
Favorite trail snack?
Homemade beef jerky
Dream snowshoe trip?
I’d head to South America to snowshoe in the Andes August.
