—I’m Italian & grew up working in the family restaurant. Family comes first & yes, I can cook! ☺
—I’m Married, a Mom of two, plus one very spoiled yellow lab. He goes everywhere with us.
—I love to travel, explore new places, meet new people, and have new experiences. You’re never too old to learn or try something new. Besides Snowshoeing I also love photography, hiking, camping , and kayaking.
Favorite aspect of snowshoeing?
Love that Snowshoeing allows me to explore places I normally wouldn’t be able to during the winter months. Love that it gets me outdoors in the fresh air, enjoying the beautiful winter landscapes. The fitness is a bonus!
Favorite drink while snowshoeing?
Water! Lots of water. Hydrate! Hydrate! Special treat would be Hot Cocoa or Coffee with Baileys.
Favorite trail snack?
Trail Mix or Cliff Bars
Dream snowshoe trip?
Spending a week, or two, in a big ole log cabin in the mountains with my entire family for the holidays.
Anything else we should know?
My husband and I have lived our entire lives in Northern Michigan. Winters can be hard, and long. We have always been very active outdoors enthusiasts with downhill skiing being our go-to winter sport, until we discovered snowshoeing, that is. Winter will never be the same,.. never too long or boring! ☺
