Top 3 things we should know about you?
1) My husband John, and our border collie, Oliver, are my number one trail companions. We can’t wait for our baby boy to be joining in on the adventures this January!
2) My day job is working in Human Genetics research, but I also spend many hours a week writing for a few different outdoor women’s websites.
3) Winter is my absolute favorite season. Last year I was able to ski over 90+ days in the backcountry and at Alta Ski Area (where I help write for the blog). I can’t wait to start spending my mornings snowshoeing with my dog, Oliver.
Favorite aspect of snowshoeing?
Being able to see sunrise from a summit.

Hot Chocolate!

Pistachio Chewy Bites
Dream snowshoe trip?
I would love to snowshoe to a yurt in the La Sals mountinas this winter, and spend the weekend skiing some new terrain. One goal is to summit Mt. Peale!
