Maple Corner Farm and Nordic Center in Granville, Mass.
This past weekend our family took a ride to Maple Corner Farm in Granville, Mass to break in our new Tubbs gear. The sky was a beautiful bluebird blue with temperatures near fifty degrees. We have been to the farm before and took advantage of a beautiful day to return. The farm offers a wide variety of trails for the beginner to the advanced. Trails are for snow shoeing as well as cross country skiing. The views are spectacular throughout the trails and the maple trees tapped for syrup are abounding.
Wyatt absolutely loved the fact that his “shoes” have a button to turn on the glowing wow factor. He showed EVERYONE along the way…and I mean everyone. They were a great fit. Lightweight and not too cumbersome for the little guy. Iva enjoyed her “shoes” too but I have to say preferred riding in the sled once we hit the up hill climbs. Thank goodness we packed that sled. Dave and I trekked right along, however speeds slowed down with some of those hills through the pastures.
All in all, a great Sunday adventure for us all and the best part was breaking in the new “shoes”. On to the next adventure….Stay Tuned!
