Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Men's Xpedition Snowshoe:

We had about 28 inches of powdery snow on the ground by January 19.On Sunday morning my wife and I went for a day hike.We both liked the easy binding adjustments and the lighness of our new snowshoes. We hiked for almost half the day enjoying the peace and solitude that we both enjoy. We were about to turn back when we realize we had walk to within 100 yards of an adult cow moose. What a great bonus to a nice day.

Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Men's Xpedition Snowshoe:

Living in the snowest city over 100000 and ranked number one in snow fall by the snowglobe, 137+ inches this year, these shoes were a life saver. I use them mostly for hunting and they were much easier to use then the shoes with the long tail. I never fell while using these snows and I hunted in knee deep snow, up and down the hills and woods in Western Pa. At the end of the day I was not tired or beat for the deep snow. The people I hunted with were so tired at the end of the day they would go to bed. I should tell you, I am 68 years old and the other guys were 10-20 years younger.

I do a lot of Hare hunting in the winter, with my Beagles. The Tubbs snowshoes are a must or you won't be going. We receive about 130 in of snow per winter. On average I put about 20 to 30 miles a week on my snowshoes, not on trails im talking cross country, breaking trail most of the time. I just love these shoes!! plus the lifetime warrenty is awesome. My snowshoes are about 18 years old now and the only time I had to send them in because my old bindings broke. Tubbs gave me an upgrade to the active bindings. best binding out there. Thank you

I have used alot of different snow shoes(Beaver tails, Pickerels, Bear Paw, and other Tubbs shoes) over the years in the woods. Bindings are by far the most important feature. I do alot of work on steep cross terrain, in the past I have broken bindings or kept slipping out of them. These are easy to adjust, I haven't slipped out of them yet, they have two years of abuse, and are easy to get off. Tubb's really did a good job engineering these.

First time snow shoe'er, took the Tubbs snow shoes through some pretty wild terrain and had a blast. My only concern would be that they are mostly plastic and therefore could be a bit flimsy, however, I had no issues with this.

We have had snowshoes in the past, but these are the best we have owned. The bindings are so easy to use and don't slip in use. Your feet stay in place, they never shift within the bindings. The shoes are light enough for long treks. I live in Wisconsin and used to "fight" winter and snow. Since we got these shoes, I look forward to getting out in each snowfall. I wish I had gotten them a long time ago.
