Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Men's FLEX ALP Snowshoe:
WOW! Awesome Snowshoes! I had reservations about the one size fits all but, that quickly dissapeared when I used them. I put them through the paces....hills,up,down,across,traverse,powder, hardpack. They performed without flaws. One minor thought is that the Heel Lift could be a little easier to fold back down.

Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Men's FLEX ALP Snowshoe:
I have been snowshoeing for many years and have used many different brands of snowshoes. The Flex Alp is the best I have used by far. When walking up or down hill, it felt like I had suction cups on my feet even with icy snow underfoot. Walking was much easier than with other brands. I was worried about flotation in deep powder since I have used 30 and 36 inch shoes in the past, but these shoes did fine. I love these shoes and use them a lot.

Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Men's FLEX ALP Snowshoe:
These shoes work well on the steeps, hardpack and powder. On trails as well as off. No issues in 20" inches of fresh snow. Easy quick release binding straps. Foot alignment is right on thanks to the straight forward binding design. Over all, very light weight. Also, note, all of the rivets in the bindings are crimped evenly. They don't tear into your boots.

Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Men's FLEX ALP Snowshoe:
Used these shoes to hike up Stevens Pass in about 30" of powder. With my snowboard and pack I probably weighed around 175lbs. The FLEX ALP Snowshoe performed great on the way up - didn't sink and the Active Heel Lift was a huge help in the steep sections. They're compact and aren't much bigger than my small backpack - Hardly noticed them while riding down. I would definitely recommend them to others who want to earn their turns.
