Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Women's FLEX NRG Snowshoe:
I have worn Tubbs snowshoes for years and years. I thought my previous (10+ year old) pair was great, but the Flex series blows them away. They flex (like the name implies) on the tail to allow for easier range of movement and less stress on your joints. However, my favorite feature is how SUPER easy they are to get on and off. I dare say I could actually handle them (by myself) pregnant (and if you are a mom, you know how tough that can be!) They also cinch up for a great fit easily, which is HUGE. Normally, I find myself messing with the straps of my snowshoes (no matter what brand they are) throughout the trek. These I can put on and count on them to stay on and not need adjusting.

Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Women's FLEX NRG Snowshoe:
I have used these snowshoes for winter camping trips, day trips, and to access backcountry skiing areas. They have never disappointed and time and again show superior traction in comparison to the snowshoes my friends wear. They are now four years old and I won't be surprised if their life span is greater than ten years.
My only complaint is that it's hard to secure the heel strap if you have small feet. Mine tends to flop around a bit, but it's not a significant distraction or a hazard.
When my sister gave me these snowshoes for Christmas I was skeptical because they're so different from any others I had ever seen. Can't tell you how many times I've told her thanks since I started to use them. And just last week I gave a pair to a friend and I know she's going to love them too!

Comments about Tubbs Snowshoes Women's FLEX NRG Snowshoe:
On 2/12/12 I used my new snowshoes on my third 5k race. This event was held near Winter Park,CO on rolling terrain with a few inclines. In the past, I used a friend's snowshoes which were old, heavy and starting to fall apart. The straps had to be tightened every 1/2 mile. So this year I bought myself the Flex NRG model and loved them! They are light weight and easy to get on. All you do is hike and enjoy the views. Because of a current shoulder issue, I did not use poles and never had a problem with balance. The bar of teeth that run the length of the shoe and another across keep you very stable. I am 60, 5'6",153# and now look forward to more frequent snowshoe outings!

2/12/12 was my 3rd snowshoe event on a 5k groomed trail on rolling terrain and some incline spots near Winter Park Colorado. The last two years I borrowed some that were heavy, old and the straps had to be tightened every 1/2 mile. This year I purchased the Flex NRG and I loved them! They have the bar of teeth that run length wise and across so I felt very stable. They are very lightweight and easy to get on. All you do is enjoy the hike and views. I have a shoulder issue so I did not use poles and the shoes were great. They are wide enough there was no balance issue. Age 60, 5'6" 153lb I am now looking forward to many more snowshoe outings!

I got these as a Christmas gift this year. Never having used snowshoes before I was a little hesistant because I have arthritis. However, these snowshoes are awesome! The bindings are easy to use and once adjusted are quick and easy. Also, I found the snowshoes to be easy on my joints which is a real plus!! I loved my initial snowshoeing experience and can't wait to go again. Thanks for a great product!

I tried these at the MT Hood Romp to Stomp last year and they were great! My friends stuggled to get theirs on and off while these were quick and easy. The quick on and off is what sold me on them. Acctually I ended up carrying someone elses snowshoes in my pack because their straps broke. Did I mention I had no problem and they were great.
